HR Executive
Run hiring and people operations at WebbyButter — source and screen candidates for AI, engineering and business roles, coordinate interviews, onboard new joiners, and keep HR processes running smoothly.
About the role
WebbyButter is growing fast, and you will own how we hire and look after our team. Working from our Vadodara office with the founders, you will run hiring end to end for AI engineers, developers, interns and business roles, from job posts and sourcing on LinkedIn and Naukri to screening, interviews and offers. You will also handle onboarding, attendance, HR records and employee engagement, and help build the HR policies of a growing AI company.
What you will do
- Publish job openings on LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Internshala and college portals, and keep them up to date
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals and campus outreach
- Screen applications and AI-chat submissions, run first-round phone screens, and shortlist candidates for technical rounds
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, collect feedback and keep candidates informed at every stage
- Prepare offer letters and manage pre-joining, documentation and onboarding for new hires
- Maintain employee records, attendance, leave and HR documentation
- Organise team engagement activities and support performance review cycles
- Build relationships with colleges for internship and campus hiring
- Track hiring metrics such as time to hire, pipeline per role and offer acceptance, and report weekly
What we are looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in recruitment or HR operations (IT or tech hiring experience strongly preferred)
- Hands-on with LinkedIn, Naukri and other job portals for sourcing
- Basic understanding of tech roles (developers, AI/ML engineers) to screen candidates effectively
- Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi; Gujarati is a plus
- Organised, with strong follow-up and comfort handling many candidates at once
- Good with Google Sheets or Excel and HR documentation
- MBA/PGDM in HR or a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Able to work on-site from our Vadodara office
Nice to have
- Experience hiring for an IT services, software or startup company
- Campus and internship hiring experience
- Familiarity with an ATS or HRMS (Zoho People, Keka, greytHR or similar)
- Knowledge of Indian labour laws, payroll and statutory compliance basics
- Interest in using AI tools to improve hiring
